J. Michael Cavitt is the key person with Yay Team! and the writer of Team Talk. Yes, J. so one says, “What’s your middle name?”
Team Talk is a means for Michael to share ideas he has developed during the more than 30 years helping others solve problems and take advantage of opportunities.
Team Talk will focused on how nonprofit organizations which don’t have paid staff can get best results. The ideas frequently will apply to staffed organizations, too.
These are the ideas Michael uses in his coaching, consulting and training with volunteers in nonprofits.
Michael holds a BA in economics and political science from Pittsburg State (Kansas) University (1969) and a Master of Public Administration from Wagner School, New York University (1972).
He has consulted, coached, trained, and mentored people in government, private, non-profit and non-governmental organizations since 1972. He worked for the Institute of Public Affairs, University of Iowa. He has served in many non-governmental organizations and non-profit organizations.
